Finding Friendship: Sprouts is the moderate version of our neurodiversity affirming social skills group designed to help children develop and enhance their social abilities in a supportive and structured environment. We serve a diverse population of students, including neurotypical and neurodiverse profiles such as ADHD and ASD with low support needs. A strength of our group is our attention to the individual interests and growth areas of the children enrolled in each group to bring the learning material to life. Our integrative curriculum pulls from popular socioemotional learning curriculums, with creative week-to-week adjustments to meet participants where they are in their socio-emotional development. The primary goals of this group for 5 to 7-year-olds are to enhance social communication, build peer relationships, boost confidence, and promote emotional regulation.
