Finding Friendship: Little Seeds- Social Skills and Emotional Regulation Group- Ages 4-5 (Spring Session)

  • Morrissey Compton 595 Price Avenue Redwood City, CA, 94063 United States (map)

Finding Friendship: Little Seeds is a neurodiversity affirming social skills group designed to support children’s foundational social and emotion regulation skills in a supportive and structured environment. We serve a diverse population of students including neurotypical and neurodiverse profiles such as ADHD and ASD with low support needs. A strength of our group is our attention to the individual interests and growth areas of the children enrolled in each group to bring the learning material to life. At the little seeds level, this group is heavily play-based and focused on supporting children with skills as they naturally emerge during play. Our integrative curriculum pulls from popular socioemotional learning curriculums, with creative week-to-week adjustments to meet participants where they are in their socioemotional development. The primary goal of this group for 4 and 5- year-olds is to foster positive social interactions, communication, and emotional regulation, and will focus on building foundational social skills to contribute to overall social and emotional development.
