Dr. Zach Rosenberg is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in therapy and assessment for children and adolescents with a wide array of challenges, including depression, anxiety, and ADHD. After receiving his B.A. in psychology from Whitman College in 2011, he spent a year working as a research assistant in the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Rosenberg went on to earn his doctorate at the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium. During his graduate training, he worked in several Bay Area community mental health organizations, such as the Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) and StarVista, while serving as a school-based therapist in local elementary and middle schools. As a doctoral student, he also worked in the Prevention and Intervention Lab at Stanford University’s Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where he completed diagnostic assessments for adolescents with depression. Dr. Rosenberg completed his one-year, predoctoral internship at the APA-accredited Southern Arizona Psychology Internship Center (SAPIC) in Tucson, AZ, where he continued his therapy and assessment training with children and adolescents, while also serving as a psychotherapist for college students with learning challenges at the University of Arizona’s Strategic Alternative Learning Techniques (SALT) Center. Dr. Rosenberg joined Morrissey-Compton as a postdoctoral fellow in 2019. He is passionate about using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help children and teens learn to broaden their perspectives, explore their identities, develop coping strategies, and learn effective interpersonal communication skills. Dr. Rosenberg also regularly leads Dungeons & Dragons-based therapy groups for children with social challenges.
